Hey everyone! First, thanks for taking a peek at my question. Basically, I really need a serious dose of enlightenment here
! Well, let's get to it then
.
Its my first time in Canada (Toronto to be specific, but I'll be touring with the family th next couple of weeks.). In fact, I've JUST arrived at the great white north. I desperately need some guidance/opinions ..Word-of-mouth.. To get me going about my own personal food trek of as much of the urban-culture, hidden hot-spots & indeed all the 'Good ol Canadian classic' dine-ins you lot can muster up for me ;P! Just to be a little more specific here:
1) I'd say $5 to $15 (~max) per person?
2) Not necessarily 'mainstream fastfood or fine-dining/restaurant-esque places need apply. In fact, my main goal is to avoid these spots, Entirely!
3) NOTHING in OR around the 'oriental/indian' cruisine pls.. Trust me, I've had more than my fair share
. Although, this 'Tepenyaki' seems unreasonably awesome tbh!!
4) I'd really appreciate it if you could pop in some of your own personal choices, like those joints you'd hang out at because of its uncanny appeal, unusually good/unique food for its pricing etc.. You know, that hidden gem that just keeps calling you back for another round when you've got that lonely $5 note (..?) and a hunger that let's face it, wasn't exactly ruining ur day ;P!
In Review:
A) BUDGET!
B) Fast Food = FAIL..
C) Doesn't have to be in Toronto. Nearby wouldn't hurt.
D) Pour your heart out
So how about it then ppl, help out a fellow enthusiast? TC
!
Just realized, I've grossly understated my range there
!! I'd say: Recommedations of about $20 - $60 per head would be the new quota.. Sorry for the confusion folks, my bad
