Calling all FISH EXPERTS! Help me please!?

Keep her in the separate tank until she heals. Maybe to keep her company, you an add another fish that she didn't fight with in her tank. You're doing a good job! Sometimes fish just dont get along.

I have a 2 year old 10 gallon fish tank. IN this tank are 3 tetras, and threee guppies. Two guppies were bought last Sunday. Sadly the male guppy (newly purchased) has been harassing and nipping my 6 month old female guppy. Her fins are DESTROYED. I put her in a 1/2 gallon tank with no filter. I added water de-chlorinator and fin healing medicine, it says it will prevent infection. Other than her ripped fins she is VERY healthy, she eats 3 times a day and I do a 50% water change every other day. She acts fine, swimming around and eating but I want to help her heal. Is there anything at all I can do to help her? Or make her heal faster?
