Calling all established and budding poets. Where are you when you write your poems?

I write mine in my bedroom, which is double aspect. One window looks out on to a beautiful silver birch tree, which can inspire me all year round with the changing seasons.(it's taller than the house) The other window looks out on my garden. I can only write where I feel comfortable. Change of room and it just doesn't work for me.

That depends. I was sitting on a bench in Gravesend Kent one Easter watching the boats/ships go by and thought I can do something with this and so out came the pen and paper and wrote what I saw.
Another I wrote at home where I lived surrounded by an orchard, so I wrote about the wind. I have often written about something when at home when I have seen something during the day/week that has inspired me I do like this interest because my imagination wanders into my world of what I see and hear and without interruption. There is only one of my poems I remember off by heart, it is my favourite.
