call of duty black ops multiplayer subliminal messages (flashing images)?

during the game play i have been seeing images that flash much like the subliminal messages from fight club. It has kind of been annoying me and it hurts my eyes as they flash, i know they are appearing, they seem white in colour. only seen during online muliplayer game vs other people.

anybody have anymore info?
 
I just had this experience for the first time. I couldn't make out what it said, but there was definitely text. It freaked me out.
