Hey i just got Cod5waw and im unable to play it on my computer. My g/f computer can run it but i am unable to. it comes with the error

Is there any1 who knows of this? I was to belive it was the sound so bought a new one still no good but vista wont allow me to use 24bit on it. the only diffrence between mine and my g/fs comp is hers has XP pro on it mines Vista Ultimate. thanks.
