Call forwarding doesn't work

I tried using call forwarding for the first time and it doesn't work. It is included in my plan. Cricket tech service has issed a "trouble ticket" for this. I'm in Phoenix area. I did a search for this problem first, naturally. It doesn't work with either the 1040prl or 1050. Thoughts? :befuddled
 
call forwarding is not dependant on your prl version... when you say it is not working how do you know? do you get a message playing back that the feature is unavailable when you try to forward calls? are the calls not being forwarded? do they go straight to voicemail? are they disappearing? what does not working mean?
 
When I do *72, *73, or *74 like the instructions (and tech help) say, a verbal message comes up, "We're sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed..."
 
you dial *725555555555 with 5555555555 being the 10 digit nuraber you want to foward the call to.

So..... *726155559292 would foward your calls to that nuraber.

assuming everything you stated is what actually happened.. you will have to wait for a your trouble ticket to work it's way through... If you don't have the feature you get a message that "the use of this feature is unavailable at this time"... so i'm not sure why you get a different kind of message.
 
Any resolution to this? I am also in Phoenix and was unable to use call forward no answer *74 or Busy *73. *72 would work and after 10 customer service calls and three threats to cancel they filed a trouble ticket. I am not confident they will resolve it though.
 
I bought a JetSet because they woudn't file the trouble ticket with CPE. It doesn't work yet, they said they would call when they resolved it.

The OP didn't post how it ended up and I was curious if they got if fixed for him.
