That's true, cars are very often 'baked' in the shop. So you suspect a poly system such as colorrite will still work? I'm not often heavy-heavy on the brakes for extended periods...

Have you considered VHT Caliper Paint? You can get it at Canadian tire for about $12 bucks a rattle...black satin, flat...I'm not sure if High Gloss is available though...
 
Time to spend some of my CT money I'm going to try to match the finish of my lower susp. I think, based on pics, it's kinda satin too.

I'll do the "Brembo" in Ducati Red, which I already have
