So the last couple of years I have been building a rigid harley from scratch,it's getting close enough to think about getting it registered.
I would like to hear from anyone who has been through this process, what to expect and so forth.
The bike is a stock factory Harley Evo Motor, with M.S.O.
Frame is a rigid wishbone Pauchco unit, again with M.S.O. in hand and the trans is a 6 speed OD unit from baker also with factory M.S.O.
Everything else is eBAY stuff that I could produce receipts for if I had to.
My big questions are about how much crap they give you about bike "Grey areas".
No horn, as of yet no turn signals ,(I think I found a way to put them on that's not hideous) no front fender and drag pipes.
Do they really hassle you about that? or is it mostly horror stories with no plot.
Any input invited, Thanks,
Sparky.
