states marriage is a right? It is a Licensed action just like a Drivers license. The State has every right and obligation to determine who is granted a license and who is not.
We do not issue drivers licenses to those under 16, to those with epilepsy or to those with other medical issue. If gays have the "right" to marry then surely blood relatives have the same right to marry right? After all they're in love and it's exactly the same love that two gays feel for each other. Once you have redefined what marriage is how can you then prevent polygamy or polyandry considering the equal protection under the law clause?
Nice try Mike but nope, my wife is a Asian and I'm not.
Umm Gengis if it's a "fundamental right" why does the State require a license for the marriage to be considered legal ? Nice try but you lose.

50 years ago, you people were the kind that would be horrified by the idea of a marriage between mixed races. Maybe you still are?

Typical freedom hater. You think you have been given power by God to chastise those who dare disagree with your right to tell others what to do.

Get a life. I was born in a state of freedom. You, your friends, your pastor (in the unlikely event you have one) or your lawyer get NO say on how I live my life.

Your tyranny will end. If not with this election, then soon.

We voted for weed to be legal here too; but does that mean we can smoke it freely helllll nooo, polygamy is not protected its just not thrown in our face Federal Law States marriage is between Man & Women...too bad the bible over rules your vote anyways!

The majority opinion by Chief Justice Ronald M. George, declared that any law that discriminates on the basis of sexual orientation will from this point on be constitutionally suspect in California in the same way as laws that discriminate by race or gender.

I believe it falls under the constitutional right to pursuit happiness. But whatever
