I'm confused with this arc length problem:
y= (1/2) x^2
P(-1,(1/2)
Q(1,(1/2)
Find the arc length of the arc of the curve from point p to point q
I am not sure how to do this, the way I have been finding arc length is when i am given an equation and it's limits and I use the arc length equation..
is this the same way?
Please show the steps of how you do this problem so I can understand also. Thank you
