How do you calculate sunrise and sunset using lines of longitude. I know there are 360 degrees in 24 hours and 4 min in 1 degree. so how can i calculate the time for sunset on a certain day.
Thanks for the help.
There are 360° of longitude and 24hrs in a day
360°=24hrs
15°=1hr
1°=4min
1’=4secs
1”=1/15secs
to find the time i think u have to add 4mins for every degree west of standard meridian
