I have always loved cake decorating since I was young enough to spread icing on a birthday cake. Now that I've gotten older, my skills are getting better and I'm the person my friends/family call to make a cake for their special day. Well, I absolutely hate my day job! I'm not happy at all!! I know I would so happy if I could make special cakes as a full-time business, but I'm afraid I wont make enough money. I know cakes are more expensive the bigger they get, but my question is on average, how much do home business cake decorators make? Anybody that knows by experience would be great! Thanks
