You deffenetly need it to be looked at just for the pure fact that the airbags are a safety feature and if the Service light for the air bag is coming on then you may be risking your life if you were to get into a wreck. Dealerships will charge you quit a bit of money theres no real way around that unless you want to take it to a 2nd hand worker. It could be something as simple as the ignition going out or it could even be as worse as needing the sensors replaced. You should try to take it to an Autozone or O'reillys store, they can check your computer on your car for free and since it is telling you a circumstance they should be able to pull up exactly what the computer is telling you is wrong and then you can just call the dealer and tell them what exactly is wrong with the car, ask them how much it costs to fix, and ask them if its safe to keep driving the vehicle while its on. Goodluck.
