i have a Cadillac catera 1998 and when i have the heat up to 90 degrees it blows out cool air ....what could be the problem?
but when the i try to put the heat on cool air blows out
and is there a fuse that controls the heat to blow in the car?
If its a used car, your compressor is out of R134(freon), its the chemical in the Air conditioning system that cool air. Its a very light gas that can go away in the atmosphere if a pressure line is full of rusts or other damages
Could be lots of things including a vacuum issue or blend door problem. I'd get it to a reputable shop and pay a professional to check it out and give you an estimate.
