Hello, I successfully unlocked a C55 with KSIE2, now a month later, the customer came back and complained, that the phone powers off during charging. It charges for a few minutes, then powers off.

The battery is OK. What could it be?

I heard of some "battery calibation" method...

Thanx, I really need this quickly, because otherwise I have to swap PCB.

TRY TO READ FULL FLASH FROM OTHER C55, THAN WRITE BACK TO FAULTY PHONE, AFTER THAT CHANGE IMEI, THAN SWUP
if it will turn off again, problem in dialog

The phone is already flashed with two good flashes, IMEI is also correct (the same like in OTP). Both flashes are from good phones and include EEPROM area.

Battery is also checked OK.

I think I need a battery parametre backup.

Can someone read out their C55 battery parametres with KSIE2?

Please can somebody help, i had similar problem. I dont know exactly how to read the battery parameter and what to do with it after having it.
thanks in advance

you mast have freia-15 and new (or good working) sim c55 ....
step by step .....:

1. freia - Miscellanous function - backap baterry parametrs from phone(from GOOD! phone)
2.freia - Miscellanous function - restore beterry parametrs in phone (in your phone)

I thing that the problem is in the " termoresistor"

Unfortunally ypur problem depends on many factors, so if you want REALLY working phone, you have to tune up it with SIEMENS SENSOR TOOL by Dark Bear, or manually in SMELTER. If you do not understand what i am talking about, ask someone else to help you, or you'll kill your accu. Unfortunally, I've no time to write more

Well, I've changed my mind After you've got accu map from FREIA you can manually tune it up, learn HEX numeration system every 2 numbers are complex Low-endian Double Word, meaning the following (in the same order they are placed in accu map file):

SpgY03V - full discharge voltage(in millivolts)
SpgX0 - full charge voltage (~4'200mV)
SpgY04V
SpgDelta - phone life range (~1'008mV)
TBatStg
TBatOff - accu overheating bound
TEnvStg
TEnvOff - enviroment overheating bound
TBtecStg
TBtecOff - critical temp during use , in other words - 'frozing limit'

2 anyone who knows the meaning of the omitted lines - please post here your additions, thanks in advance.
