I am writing an essay comparing C. Wright Mills' view points on the white collar worker in comparison to my own experience in the military. At one point in the introduction of "White Collar," Mills lumps in military men with the rest of the white collar workforce, claiming the white collar worker is not a man of his own, but rather always somebody else's man, be that corporation's, government's, or army's (xii).
What I am looking for is some help finding more of Mills' opinion on the military, especially as compared to white collar work. References of books with page numbers (or websites) would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.
