Haven't seen any posts about this - has anyone else seen it? Terrific French-Canadian film about a family in Montreal in the Sixties and Seventies. Superb acting, visually stunning, wonderful use of music and both very funny and very moving. Maybe the reviews didn't do it justice because it's definitely one of the best coming-of-age films I've seen.
 
Just watched this today! Amazing acting, story and soundtrack. I agree with everything you said above also! I don't usually watch foreign language movies as i find it hard to watch. But you forget your reading after a while and get sucked into the story.

Go buy or rent this DVD. You will not regret it!
