Bylaw Vs Wii

I had some buddys over to try my Wii and we had it muted so we could blast music. I live in a 750 sqft apt and have 5.1 plus 2 towers + an additional sub

So the bylaw show up, first time I've had them called on me to... what we were listening to ended like 5 minutes before I had a knock on my door. I open it and it's the bylaw, quite as hell in my apt, no music TV still muted.

He tells me there is a noise complaint and has to write me up. I tell him thats bogus because it's quiet and we are just playing my Wii.

His eyes bug "You have the Wii!"

So I invite him in to play 1 round of boxing, he doesnt write me up and leaves without any warning or anything, didnt even take my name.

What a douche
 
bylaw? what the hell? when we ignore the noice bylaw the RC's come. Is that what you meant? the OPP? Either way, worst case is a warning first time anyway... I wouldnt let him play with my wii, I'd let him watch... lol
 
Bylaws are basicly a rent-a-cop. All they can do is tell you to stop doing something and possibly fine you. But if you don't listen then they can call the cops (just like anyone else )

They are what are sent first to such things as noise complains and such instead of wasting a real cops time.

They don't even have a weapon, they only have pepper spray.



Now I need to figure out a way to seek revenge against my stupid neighbours downstairs. I have lived here for a year and 1/2 and keep it down 99.9999% of the time. And they call the bylaw on me at 8pm... wtf is that?

And apparantly in my region you can get fines or introuble or whatever happens for to much noise regardless of whatever time it is
