It's been a few months for those who installed these. How are they continuing to perform now that you have some miles behind you?
 
Installed mine last summer and wouldn't be without it. I sold another friend on it today after we swapped bikes for 30 mins. His will be on order Monday. After riding his bike it has reminded me what an improvement this has made to mine.

I am very sorry to see those of you on this forum who are so sceptical that a problem does not exist because they haven't experienced it first hand. I had a 08 anniversary UC and with 10k on it, when I encountered the wobble in a sweeping right hand turn. I am 62 years old and was going with the flow of traffic, not 100 mi per hour, as some here suggest is what it takes to set it into motion. At 65-70 mi per hr the bars were shaking so bad I finally lost it and went down. I am home recovering with a broken hip and busted femur. I have been riding most of my life and this was my first HD, Don't claim to be a pro, but not a newbie either. I to didn't think it could happen to me, after all I am an old geezer and don't ride agressively. Bike is total loss and was not insured, only PL & PD. If I knew then what I know now, the brace is one of the first things I would of put on. I don't know how to convince someone who has a closed mind or thinks that this is just another fad that it can't happen to them, because it can. I only hope that when it happens you will have better luck in the outcome than I did. I am sure I used up one of my 9 lives that day and just thank God that I didn't have my girlfriend on the back.
 
I finally took my Ultra out for a ride today after installing the Bagger Brace. I cannot absolutely freakin believe the difference. This was my first touring bike, so I didn't expect it to handle or anything. It was big and it wallowed around slow turns etc. It stops in a straight line now, it doesn't weave, it doesn't wander. I can dive the bike into corners now. It's like I can now predict the way the bike is going to behave, and I can trust it. This bike definately needed the rear end tied together like this.

Before the bike behaved like a fat chick sitting on a bar stool trying to work her wedgie out. Now it handles just like I dance - elegant, graceful, and light on my feet.

Ok. I can't say I notice a wobble but it seems like an interesting idea. What I can't get past however is bolting the oil pan into the brace and then extending that to frame. I'm no engineer but wouldn't that put some stress on the 6 bolts going into the oil pan as the engine bounces up and down naturally? Am I missing something here?
 
Add me to the list of those convinced that this product is a necessity to those that are looking for ride improvement and safety. Just ordered the BB for my recently acquired (3 days ago) 00' FLT- EG Standard. Thanks for all the good input regarding the product.
