Bye-Bye wobble! Hello Bagger Brace! Pics!

Mine took 3 weeks to arrive and I was charged $15.00 for shipping, so I guess the free shipping is only for a select few. I contacted Ron twice about the shipping delay and was told I was "next" on the list, but it still took 3 weeks from the time I ordered it (regular silver anodized, no special extras). I haven't had a chance to try it out yet but it is now installed (took about 1 1/2 hours to install). It would of gone quicker if I had the correct tools. I recommend the extended length hex bit 3/8" drive in both 3/16" and 5/32" sizes to make the job easier.

I live about 20 mins from Ron and Stacey's place.I was there today. They are great ppl! I was there initially about 2 months ago to check them out.I left there(after a 2 hour conv.) knowing that he was a decent guy who genuinely cares about his work an his customers. After our hour and half visit today we have nailed down the particulars to be done on my bike(2003 RG).I have no doubt that the bike will be done first rate.

I can't imagine not having one of these after seeing the gorgeous pics of the product and hearing the glowing reviews. I'm sold. Black one on the way.

Finally got a chance to test the Bagger Brace. Rode in to work this morning and it worked as advertised. It didn't eliminate the wobble condition entirely, but it reduced it to where it is just barely noticeable now, if at all. It also corners now like it is on rails, nice and tight and No wash-out. I have to say I am very pleased with the results and the price even if you have to pay for shipping it is worth every penny in my opinion.
The Bagger Brace really does work!

Got mine last week. Currently have no tools or place to put it on as I am in an apartment at the moment, so took it to a dealer. They threw it on for me in under .5 hours.

Rode a full tank of gas to empty this weekend to test it out.

Some observations:

As others have said, does not completely remove the wobble, but, wow, what a difference! Road 2 up all day yesterday and wife asked me why I was taking curves so fast today. "Because I can!" was my answer.

Was on the freeways and the twisties around San Diego, choosing roads that had varying conditions and that I was familiar with so I had a base line to compare.

Curves were much, much better; faster and more stable. Funny I was expecting a huge wobble on some cures and it was just no longer there, replaced by a big grin. F Freeway seemed the same unless I hit a reflector or changed lanes. Nothing side to side there anymore.

Not 100% sure, but thought I might be getting a little, and I mean a little, vibe in the grips. But, as I said, could be in my head. Took my hands off the bars on several different roads and the bike seems, seems, to be tacking a bit to the left. Nothing major, just didn't know if it was there before (don't think so). Dealer and tech said that is normal (of course) as the belt and drive is on the left. Now that the bike is tighter, it may be more pronounced.

Either way, brace kicks a$$ and I am glad I did it.

If you are on the fence, I would recommend the 280 it cost and do it. I could feel a lot wobble before, but didn't realize how drastic it was until it was gone.
