black screen!? I was messing with my laptop this is how it happened: Went to control Panel and then display, then to settings, clicked ont the advanced tab and then clicked on monitor, I selected disabled the monitor, after that my computer restarted and the screen went black. It is still working because I can see the DELL logo coming out at the beginning and then I see the Microsoft logo, I also hear it loading the files in the back, but cannot see any images at all. Please help I am very worried!

You are in the exact situation as me, except that I didn't mess around with it lol! Well at least I think you are because I still can still see DELL logo and stuff, just too black to see. You may say bye bye to your screen now lol. Your laptop is still working, except the screen. If you try to close your screen, then open, you might be able to see your screen for a few seconds. What you need to do now is, buy an adapter that connects to your desktop or TV. This means you gotta buy an external screen. Otherwise you need to get it repaired. It costs roughly $100+, possibly $200+ to get in done. If you are lucky, that it isn't too serious, it would cost about $50 or so. I would personally buy a small LCD for it if it costs me $100++ to repair.
