i really like this guy who is 21.. i have heard from many people that the age consent is now 14... i really want to know cuz i really like this guy... i am not14 tho i am 16... so there should be no problems right?

The age of consent in Iowa is 16 unless the older partner is less than four years older in which case it is 14 or 15.

You can date whoever you like. There is no age limit for dating. There is a limit to consent for sex though. For him not to be arrested for rape you would have to wait until you are 18. Dating on the other hand doesnt matter.
