K KailaW New member Sep 9, 2010 #1 Have you considered changing over to a tc motor? I had a 99 softail that I thought of doing that to, they made an adapter for the eng/trans mount. I wouldnt be surprised if they have a conversion for a touring model.

J Joshua T New member Sep 9, 2010 #2 The motor should be fine. There was no difference with the Evo's, the twin cams are different with the counterbalancers used in the softail.
