I recently bought a mazda protege5 and it needs some repairs.
I have a piece of paper from a repair shop that says it needs this part:
P1569
main control
idle speed control
sensor
I looked that up on google and I don't understand what part it is, I can't seem to find a part that matches that description. The P1569 seems to just be the error code that appears when this part fails, I don't know what actual part to buy. I was hoping to buy the part and bring it to a friend mechanic to install as to save money.
Can anyone find the part online? Does that make any sense what they wrote for the part description?
The mechanic says the part should cost less than $150.
