Buying my first car !! help ?

Hey everyone, so im finally buying my first car and im confused on everything. How much to spend, whats reasonable and reliable ? I dont want to pay too much but i need a car i can count on! Any suggestions? Thanks everyone feel free to msg me ! :) God bless

How much to spend depends on your income....As most cars (Brand New) are at least 20K.
I would do some research on the web, other than yahoo answers, before you go out and get one. For instance... Choose a brand you like and build one online. Most of them have budget calculators that will show your monthly budget.

don't go too expensive. most people crash their first car. once you get a little more experience behind the wheel then upgrade
 
whatever you do DO NOT buy a Saturn, and don't just get the old car from your arents friends!!!
If you have anyone who knows anything about cars have them come with you! (I am havng difficuties with that too) Toyota, Honda are suposed to be the best. Don't get ANYTHING that is a "fixer upper" you will pay for it trust me, and NEVER go to a dealer when you can go to a personal seller. It will be the same car for 2x the price! Get something you LIKE as well not super expensive if you are a fast driver, or are not good at it.
