Buying my dad a present, something for his bike?

Fathers day is coming up, and two days later is my dad's birthday so I wanted to combine the presents and get something good. My dad is interested in getting a bike, so I wanted to purchase something for him that he would eventually buy that went with the bike. Any ideas? I'm a poor college students so preferably something under or around $100 and that he didn't have to pick out himself. Obviously I can't buy him a bike (the one he is looking at is around 2,000), but I wanted my present to be something he could use while biking or that goes along with it. Like a tire pump or tools..Im not sure and wanted to get the advise from people who are familiar with this sport.

Thanks for any and all help!
he's buying a road bike :)

I guess to really completely answer you, I would need to at least know what type of bike he's buying or what kind of biking he would be doing. The camel back is a good idea...think they are around $40 here locally. Very useful and universal.

1. Seatbag Kit
Seatbag: $20
Crank Bros M-5 tool: <$10
Patch Kit: $3
Tire levers: $5
Spare Tubes (2): $10
CO2 inflator: $15
Spare CO2 (2): $5

---- He'd keep this with him all of the time.

2. Floor Pump (every cyclist needs one)
nice & snazzy pump = Topeak JoeBlow Pro @ $80
good quality, but not as flashy = Serfas Pump @ $35

3. Identification (if he rides alone, this is especially important)
trendy = ROAD ID @ $15-20
practical = dog tag w/chain @ $10 (from pet store....really!)

4. Mirror = "Take-A-Look" (helmet/eyeglass mount) @ $15
......if he's riding roads

5. Bike stand/rack for home @ $15-50

Juggle them up as you wish. I'd want my dad to wear a mirror and ID while riding alone on the roads. The JoeBlow floor pump is really 'gifty' if giving something nice is important to you. The seatbag kit is mandatory luggage for all of us.
