Buying commuter bike. A Vstar 650, Shadow 750, or a 2003 Honda Magna with low

mileage. Recommendations? Vstar or Shadow same price, Magna bit less, but I like the way it looks. Any experience with these bikes? Which is better?
 
I love my V-star, but Honda has the rep for being absolutely the most reliable, so if you like the look, go for it.

If you're not set on a cruiser, many folks recommend a commuter bike that puts you up higher, like a sport-tourer or super-motard. That theoretically makes you more visible to cars than on a low-slung cruiser.
