Buying brushes from art shop?

some people get their make up brushes from art shops innit? Why do they and what type would you get? Ta
 
i wouldn't recommend buying brushes from an art shop, as the bristles are designed for paint and may invisibly scratch your skin. if you wanted to buy some, then go for the medium sized ones with very fine bristles and very soft. be careful it might be hard to apply make up with them :)

Dont buy brushes from the art shop!
There ment for painting not makeup.
If you were supposed to use them from makeup they would be sold at a makeup shop.

Yes you can buy brushes from an art shop as they are a lot cheaper.

They are basically the same thing and you can get all the sizes they are good quality too. I know some people think its weird because they are meant for paint but your face is basically a canvas - its all the same process really.

Art brushes can be really good for nail art too.
