Buying a1999 cadillac seville sts .?

All full size cadillacs come with northstar since 94 and most are decent engines, some do get leaks from engine case half,(blocks split in half) and headgaskets, also had a torq convertor, turbine shaft seal problem with trans, but most problems should have been taken care of by ten years, any excessive oil, coolant leaks, shift problems or check engine light, then I'd rethink buying vehicle

what kind of motor is it? if it has the northstar engine i would stay away from it completely. the oil pan gasket fails in it, normally its an easy fix but on the northstar the entire engine has to be removed to fix it

Besides motor mounts and head gasket what else should I look at?
