Buying a used Honda Civic with 100k miles on it?

100k is too much. After 100k your going to have to put a lot of money in it. Unless your getting a good deal I would go with a more reliable car especially since it has so many miles.
 
So I need a car for my commute to class (about 15 miles each way) and was looking at buying a used Honda Civic. I need something that will be reliable since obviously I can't miss class, especially in the compacted summer classes. I also need something that will last for a fairly long time. Will I be able to get a Civic with 100k miles on it and drive it to 200k miles with little problem? My budget is around 5-6k
