Buying a used ford fusion?

That is a good price for that model car. If I were you, I would ask a mechanic to take a look at the car. If the car is in good condition you should get it. I hear great things about the Ford Fusion.

I hear all good things about Ford Fusion. It has proven to be reliable and good on gas. What I would do in your situation is have this vehicle inspected by a certified mechanic. They can run a full diagnostics on the car and tell you exactly what it needs. With so many miles, it must be mainly highway. Also, make sure to check carfax report for the history on the car.

Hope this helps

Ever the nay sayer I will be. Although the hype is that the Ford Fusion is so great, I have a good friend who has not had great luck with her 2007. At 22,000 miles she is on her second set of brakes all the way around, the tires went at 19,000, The engine is noisy and under powered (4 cylinder). The mileage is OK, but about the same as my AWD Subaru Forester. I don't think that seems right.
Overall, I would approach a high mileage Fusion very carefully.
