I saw a deal online on craigslist, a schwinn mesa runner
and in the picture it seemed fine to me.
But they didn't post that many specs other than risers/shifters, blue color, and needs new pads in front.
google says i need a 57-58 cm frame for a 5'9"-5'10" person. Im more in the 5'10 ish almost 11" but i can just raise the seat. Id rather raise the seat than have the frame too big.
And im wondering what else i should look for. its 75 bucks. so its perfect for me. and its my first road bike. im in college in richmond and everybody rides a road bike. EVERYBODY. i thought they were so exspensive but than how does almost every college kid afford one?
SO i dont need shiny paint or like 26 speed crap. I just want a bike with a very very light frame like i just wanna see 3 metal pipes. and wheels as thin as my finger.
But even if its 75 dollars i don't wanna get ripped. if they e-mail me back with the frame size. ill probably go over and look at it and talk to the owner. But before i go i think i should do more research.
