Buying a phone off ebay..Will it be covered by Asurion?

Hi everyone.

I am planning on buying a Blackberry off eBay. I currently have the Asurion insurance on my Palm Centro. If I switch my number to the Blackberry and it gets lost/stolen/damaged, can I go through Asurion and get a replacement Blackberry from them? I could have sworn I heard someone telling me that this happened to them. I just don't want to spend money on the Blackberry and then if anything happens to it I will be SOL. :(

Asurion can only cover devices that are brand new. Insurance can only be added on or up until 15 days after you purchase the device. After that, you can't get it added. Since the eBay device will not be brand new, no cell phone insurance carrier will cover it.
