buying a new fork for my bicycle?

I want a new fork that'll fit a quill stem/ a threaded fork correct.? I was looking on ebay for cheap ones but I don't understand what size to buy?/ my tires say 700x23cm. Can it fit the "fork for 26" wheels"


My bike is pretty small. 47cm , if this matters.
what? you're saying I will never find a threaded fork for a quill stem that fits my bike?
 
No a 26" fork will not fit on that bike. Unfortunately, no 700c forks were made before the 1 1/8" change over. You will not find a fork made that will fit that bike.
