I'm a college student buying her first car, and I'm trying to figure out which one is the best for me. I'm originally from New York, but I go to school in Los Angeles, and after two years of using the very slow and buggy Metro and asking my car-wielding friends for favors, I'm ready to have my own. The thing is, I do a lot of random stuff, so I'd like a car that can either hold 5 people, or hold a decent sized piece of furniture; I don't need to have both. Price isn't a big issue. What is is that I only learned how to drive last year, and I need a car that is fairly easy to work with (no huge blind spots, etc). I had done my research, and the Honda Fit kept popping up so I had settled on that, but I recently discovered the Volkswagen Tiguan. Since it's so new, there's not a lot of info on the internet about it and I can't compare the two too much. Therefore, I open the question up to you, internet denizens who probably know a lot more about cars than I: Fit or Tiguan?
