I am looking to buy a Jeep Wrangler or Grand Cherokee but all I will be able to afford is one years through 90-97 and pretty much every one I have seen has over 100k miles most over 120k... Is it a big concern to buy a Jeep with higher miles? Are there some maintenance issues to look out for when buying? Such as timing belt replacement, c-v joint, etc? I know that Japanese cars are the way to go I just want a Jeep this time. Even if I would be able to drive it for a year till it breaks down that wouldn't be a big concern. Thanks!
Sorry I meant Jeep Cherokee or Jeep Grand Cherokee, not wrangler.

Don't let the american made vehicle scare you off in mileage. You're not scared of a Honda with that many miles, don't be of a Jeep. However, buy one with a 4.0 in-line 6. They virtually last forever and are very affordable to maintain. You can buy entire new blocks for under a grand. Don't get the v8 from jeep. it will kill you mileage and maintenance wise. Stick to a 4.0 inline six. The chrysler inline six and gm 350 are the best engine blocks available. Try to get 94 up if possible, those jeeps start getting better safety features. Good luck
