I have an offer from a friend to buy his old Caddy for $2500. It has 70,000 miles, but needs all new struts which will be 1,000 plus labor fees. I have heard that it can be driven without new struts, is this reasonable or are they absolutely necessary? Car is in great shape as well. Thanks.
