I'm buying a used car tomorrow(looking-hopefully buying) and so far I've only ever looked and test drove cars, I've never actually bought one. I just got my license 4 months ago and have never owned a car. What are the steps I need to take when buying it?
I'm taking it to a mechanic to check it out because I don't have anyone to come with me.
How long is the whole process?
Does the seller pretty much take care of all the paperwork, carfax, title in hand? What if the car looks dood but no carfax report?
When do I hand the money over?
What's my resposiblitly with this whole deal?
