I want to upgrade the memory of my iMac, but I dont know which one should I pick..
Does MAC pcs has their own specific memory?
can I use Kingston? or Generics?
My iMAC has for 2 slots of memory, but right now it is using only one slot
512mb
DDR2 (PC2-5300)
333MHZ (DDR2 667)
I do not know the brand...
Another question, if I buy a memory of 1gb, can I put it in my iMAC without taking the another memory? so my computer will have 1536 MB, or the slots have to be even?
Do they need the same amount and brand of memory?
