1) Bought phone on Monday. (Switched from Pocket to Cricket)
2) Sales rep knew of problem porting situation, did not advise me.
3) Am now going on day four waiting for the porting problem to resolve.
4) Call old nuraber (although Cricket gave me a TEMP nuraber) and get msg "The nuraber you are calling is no longer in service." Lost hundrRAB of calls ($$$) due to this "situation".

I wonder if maybe I should switch to different company and make sure I run a campaign to get everyone else to leave Cricket?

Same boat here too! I am going on day 7. Is this something we can report to FCC? They won't even let me go to different company with my same nuraber as it has to be active with cricket first and they can't seem to resolve the porting issue
 
Cricket Currently is experiencing some major problems, not sure why but calls are not coming to cell phones, Registration is denied and nuraber routing is screwy. This is a temp problem and will get resolved, i know its frustrating but cricket is good at getting things fixed when things go haywire, i am guessing this is all related to the recent Agreement with sprint for use of their towers and not quite getting everything kink free (i.e. assigning nurabers to their bank {porting})
 
Here's the thing people.
GO TO A CORP STORE.

Your issues come because you go to a run down third part store WHO IS NEVER trained right. They dont care about anything other then the money in your pocket.

The problem with cricket is that anyone can become a cricket dealer < well thats a lie now because cricket is barely starting to tighten up on this. With that being said there is so many wannabe cricket dealers that do not know anything or dont care **** about anything..

Go to a reputable store. Your issue would have been delt with correctly.

Porting takes literary less then 40 mins. We do it all day long every day and on average its done porting in 30 mins.

The other thing, did you give them ALL THE CORRECT info ? if not thats your fault not crickets.
