busying a sports bike r6 questions?

i dont know a hole lot about sports bike but im goin pick up a 2003 yamaha yzf r6 next week for 3500.. it looks in prime condition and its got 40000 Kilometers on it http://moncton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-motorcycles-sport-bikes-3500-firm-this-weekend-only-needs-to-go-asap-2003-yamaha-r6-W0QQAdIdZ291562564 this is the ad here....from my experiences i think its not a bad deal at all....can anyone confirm this or agree?
 
Maintenance history should be taken very seriously as those high revving bikes are very sensitive to proper lubrication of the internal engine components. Oil pressure test should give you an indication about the condition of crank and cam shaft bearings. Compression test will tell you the condition of the combustion chamber components. Personally, I would not buy a 40k sports bike (at least) without these tests.
