Bus or Car? What's better for the environment?

Ok, so i have this essay and i have to argue on which one is better for the environment.. In My opinion, with car nowaways (hydrid, electric, smart cars) is much better than riding the bus, plus you don't have to sit next to homeless people lol

so what do you guys think?
well buses r mostly full
 
It's going to be very difficult to argue that cars are better than the environment than buses. The only way that would happen is if the bus is running empty. Then, it may use more fuel than everyone in the bus driving their own cars.
