I own a 1999 1.8 Ford Focus Ghia.
Just recently it has become very bumpy and very noisy, even when driving it down smooth and newly laid roads.
I took it to the garage once and they said that the brake pads were causing it, so I had them changed yet the problem still seemed to be around. I then took it to another garage and they said that the roll bar was causing it so I had this changed, yet it still had the same problem.
A few days ago, the MOT was done on it, and it passed with very minor problems, none that related to the noise or cause of this problem. I had one tyre changed on it.
Can anyone suggest what the problem could be or am I just being paranoid? It is really rough on the road and bumps really badly even going over the smallest of holes in the road.
I am from the UK.
