Bumps on arms and legs?

A few days ago I got these little bumps on my hands and legs, I used an old lotion on them the day before so I assumed that's what they're from, the next day they didn't go down and were itchying a lot. I was at the doctors for another issue and he told me it looked like an allergic reaction and to put calamine lotion on it. The calamine didnt really help at all, my arms and legs were still itchy. Today i got more bumps on my legs arms and palms of my hands and fingers (those are the only places on which I used the lotion- i didn't use it on my stomach or back and those are fine) the bumps on my hands and fingers are like tiny blisters with water in them, they are uncomfortable but not as itchy as they were the days befor. Any ideas if its possible that its an allegric reaction to the lotion or if its something else?
