Bump under tongue on the inner part of the teeth?

I just noticed this bump like a week ago, and its a decent size bump. It doesnt hurt or bleed or anything. I also feel like it gets smaller sometimes. Maybe thats just my imagination. Can anyone offer any information?
 
Maybe its a salivary gland. If you hold your tongue against it it stopped the saliva from coming into your mouth and your mouth gets dry. When you release your tongue you can feel the saliva pouring out. Just a suggestion.
