I'll try to make this as short/simple as possible.
My sister's boyfriend has a 1 yr old bulldog that definitely has passive aggressive issues - At least I think he does. The bulldog used to fight a lot with his brother and I think he got really low confidence due to this. The bulldog is really SUPER sweet and scared of everything but then the next minute he will attack anything that scares him and anyone who looks weird - for instance he growled at some person that was holding a box. He tried to attack his own reflection. I've heard countless stories about my sister telling me how he tries to attack random objects that scare him and that his growling and barking scares her.
Then the other day I was trying on my scarf and put it around my face - the bulldog watched me the whole time and came over to greet me and was wagging his tail - he seemed to know it was me under the scarf. He laid down. A minute or two later he gets up, looks at me and tries to attack me - his owner had to stop him from getting at me. It really confused me because he knows who I am and forgot a minute later who I was?
Now I am a bit scared because what happens if for some reason he doesn't recognize me or my sister and attacks when there is noone around to help?
1. What type of behavioral training would he have to go through to be able to be helped with passive aggressive behavior?
2. Is passive aggressive behavior in a dog dangerous/unpredictable?
