i just built a new PC. when trying to install win XP on empty HD i got a blue screen. then i installed vista and it installed prefectly. then i tried to install xp again but again it gave me blue screen. it seems all parts r functioning since there is no problem with vista but i dont want vista on the PC. i want xp pro and dont know how to fix this. my HD is a western digital 250 Gig if that helps, quad core, buffalo 2 gig ram, intel motherboard, geforce 8600 GT. please someone help
