Built-In IM App - Can someone extract it?

I got a BRANDED E62 and I'd rather use the built-in IM app from the E61 (I remember it from before).

Anyone can extract the .sis from the Z: ROM? I'd love to try out the beta thing going on
 
Unforunately, it's written into the ROM, meaning you can't extract it. Thus, you'll have to unbrand your E62 if you want to use it. I believe Evan at iUnlock can do this
 
Yeah, OZ would be pretty cool if it didn't charge you a boatload of SMS. For someone with only 100 SMS but unlimited data, I prefer a completely data driven messenger.

I did manage to extract the IM app from the E62.

Though I guess I could unbrand my E62. The only reason I didnt want to unbrand it is because I was considering using the built-in IM software for my carrier

Now that I got it extracted, I can just reinstall it after I install the chinese E62 firmware

I dont need to pay off anyone to flash it (got phoenix).

However, I cant find the Fido/Rogers firmware of the E62 to reflash later if I feel like going back
