I'm building an entertainment/home theater system using hd projection and want to build a media PC to control it. Can anyone recomend a good capture device? I'm more concerned that the included software will have good dvr style capabilities and guide (as I'm sure they probably all capture the cable signal the same way).
Also does anyone know if any of these devices can wake the pc up from standby/hibernate to record a program?
Not interested in tivo btw..a pc can record tv for free and much more...(just cause i'm sure some1 will say "just get tivo")
