Buick - ABS and Brake light flashes on then turns off - intermittently?

2002 Buick LeSabre - the ABS and Brake lights both turn on momentarily and I hear "ding, ding, ding" sound - then the lights turn off (usually) after a second or two. Appears to happen completely at random - while driving and parked, while applying brakes and not applying brakes - may happen once a day, may happen several times a day - all completely random. The brake shop inspected the brakes and couldn't find any problems. The brakes appear to work fine otherwise. Any ideas?
 
I know what the ding ding sound is, it is the valves in your anti lock brake computer. Try unhooking the anti lock break computer and see if you hear the pinging anymore. By the way unhooking the anti lick brake computer will give you a brake light but will not affect the car stopping. I will bet that the computer is going bad. Expensive fix
